How often will you clean my home? 

At Broom and Bucket Cleaning Services, our focus is keeping all our customers happy and tailoring our service to your needs. We offer cleaning on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis. We also offer one-time deep cleaning to get your house to the beautiful standard we all deserve. Just let us know what you need and we'll do the rest, with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. 

What cleaning supplies will you be bring?

At Broom and Bucket, we bring the products and equipment to clean your home. Our team will bring our eco-friendly cleaning products, hoover, mop, and everything else we need to clean your home. We only ask that you provide a toilet brush (we don't like carrying those between houses!). If you prefer that we use your hoover, please let us know.

Do I need to be home when you clean?

You are very welcome to be at the property whilst we complete the cleaning, but it is not necessary for you to be in your home while we get the dirty work done.  As long as our cleaners can access the property, you can be assured that you will return to a spotless and sparkling property. The majority of our clients have keys on file with us or provide a key code to their home.

Are you pet friendly? 

Yes, at Broom and Bucket Cleaning Services we love your furry friends but understand they can cause a large amount of mess in your house! We do ask that you introduce us to your pets on our first visit and let us know how to handle your pet while you're not on the property, it's also nice to know where you keep the treats for when they've been exceptionally well behaved! If your pet is aggressive, we do ask for it to be kept outside or shut away while our cleaners in your property to keep all involved safe and happy. 

What if I need cancel or reschedule an appointment?

At Broom and Bucket Cleaning Services, we understand that life can be busy and there may be a time when you have to cancel an appointment. If this is ever the case, just get in touch, the sooner you can let us know the better. If we are given less than 48 hours notice you could be charged a cancellation fee of half the cost of cleaning. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged the full price of the clean. There may be times when holidays, weather, or staffing may cause us to reschedule a cleaning. We'll always try our best to give you plenty of notice. If you need to reschedule or cancel, you can call us at 0151 203 4405.

What if I am not satisfied? 

At Broom and Bucket Cleaning Services we offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, meaning if you're not satisfied with any part of your cleaning, we'll return to reclean at no cost to you.  Our cleaners are human, and humans can make mistakes. We strive for perfection, but if anything is less than perfect, please give us a call and we'll be sure to make it right. 

 

We want to ensure that our customers understand that achieving an immaculate home may require a few cleaning sessions, especially if you have not had a professional cleaning before. Dust can quickly accumulate in your home, and it may take more than one cleaning session to get rid of it all. However, rest assured that with each cleaning, our team will work hard to eliminate as much dust as possible, and your home will become cleaner and more enjoyable.

Do you shampoo the carpets as part of regular cleans?

During our routine and one-time deep cleans, we always hoover the carpets. Carpet cleaning beyond hoovering is a service we are proud to offer at an additional cost. We use professional-grade carpet cleaners and high-quality carpet shampoo when conducting carpet cleaning. Our clients are amazed at how we can make a dirty old rug or carpet look brand new again.

Do you offer vacation home or AirBnB cleaning?

We offer short-term rental cleaning, which is generally priced differently than our regular routine cleaning. This is because of the high frequency of cleaning these homes often need. For vacation homes that are rented on a weekly basis, we'll clean weekly at our normal weekly clean rate.  If you're interested in having our team handle the cleaning of your rental property, please call or email us for a free estimate.

Do you conduct quality control inspections?

Our managers may visit your home while a cleaner is present, or just after, to ensure the high quality of our cleaning. We inspect our cleaner's work on a regular business to ensure we are always delivering a world-class cleaning experience to our clients. In addition, our cleaners follow a standardized checklist that will be left with you at the end of your clean.

Can I schedule extra cleans?

Often times when our clients are hosting friends, having family visit, or getting ready for a special event, they'll request an additional off-schedule clean for their home. Broom and Bucket is always happy to assist you in scheduling an additional cleaning, just call us at 0151 203 4405.

How will I know when my cleaner(s) will arrive?

Our team will send you an appointment confirmation in the days leading up to your cleaning. In addition, you will receive a text when our cleaners are on the way to your home. Both notifications will tell you the estimated time of arrival of your cleaners. We ask that you give us a 30 minute grace window to account for traffic and unavoidable delays.

How does Broom and Bucket manage client keys?

At Broom and Bucket, our client's trust and security is of the utmost importance. We have several options for accessing your property on the day of your clean.

1. Our Lockbox Program: We will provide you with a lockbox that you can place out the day or night before your clean. The cleaners will access the lockbox when they arrive to collect the keys, and return the keys to the lockbox when they leave the property. 

​

2. You can provide us with a key to the property. We store all keys in a locked safe and all keys are assigned a random code. The code correlates to your account, but if the keys were ever to get into the wrong hands, they would be useless as there is no identifying information on the keys. 

What do you charge for cleaning?

Flat Rate Pricing: Deep-Clean Cycle System

Our unique Deep-Clean Cycle System is designed to ensure every corner of your home receives the attention it deserves. We charge a flat rate for this service based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home. This allows us to spend as much time as necessary to achieve a thorough clean without any surprise charges.

The Deep-Clean Cycle System includes a comprehensive cleaning of all rooms in your home on every visit, while also deep cleaning a portion of the home each visit as well. It's the perfect choice for those who want a complete, top-to-bottom house cleaning for a sparkling home, year round.

Hourly Rate: Custom Cleans

We understand that every home is unique and you might have specific cleaning needs that don't fit into a standard cleaning plan. For this reason, we also offer custom cleans at an hourly rate.

Our custom cleans allow you to dictate what areas of your home you'd like us to focus on. Whether you want us to pay special attention to your kitchen, concentrate on high-traffic areas, or simply want a general clean, we're here to cater to your specific needs.

Do you use bleach products?

At Broom and Bucket, we prioritize the health and well-being of both our clients and our cleaning staff. While bleach can be effective in certain situations, we refrain from using bleach-based products for regular cleaning unless there is a specific need, such as addressing mould or mildew issues. There are several reasons for this:

 

1. Safety: Bleach can be harsh and may pose health risks if not used correctly. We want to ensure a safe environment for our clients and our cleaning professionals.

 

2. Environmental Concerns: Many bleach-based products contain chemicals that can be harmful to the environment. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we opt for environmentally friendly cleaning solutions whenever possible.

 

3. Irritant Sensitivity: Some individuals are sensitive to the strong odour of bleach. We aim to provide a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for everyone in your home.
